On June 21st, the Cloud Signing Ceremony between GCC and overseas universities was held in the Conference Room on the fourth floor of the Academic Exchange Center. Representatives from Curtin Singapore, University of Hull, University of Dundee, Middlesex University, Vancouver Island University, Baekseok University, Eurasian Business School of Kazakhstan and Tulane University of Kazakhstan attended the online meeting. Lv Quanrong, Secretary of the School Party Committee, Zhang Yan and Guo Hang, Vice Presidents of GCC, Li Hanjun, Assistant President, relevant leaders and representatives of teachers and students from the International College attended the ceremony at the offline main venue. The ceremony was presided over by Guo Hang.

      All the participants watched the video of the 20th anniversary of international education of GCC and felt the active atmosphere of the college internationalization.

Lv Quanrong delivered a speech on behalf of GCC, extending a warm welcome to the representatives from partner universities and the guests who attended the Cloud Signing Ceremony. He said that GCC has always practiced the idea of international education, actively carried out foreign exchange activities, and strived to build an international school brand. In the past 20 years, the internationalization of the college has achieved fruitful results. Under the tide of internationalization of higher education, we are in a new historical opportunity period of construction and development. This cloud-signing cooperation is a new measure for the college to actively explore foreign cooperation in running schools under the background of the normalization of COVID-19, and it is also a powerful witness to the achievements of our internationalization. The signing of the contract will promote the in-depth communication and cooperation between GCC and overseas cooperative universities and colleges in terms of school-running ideas, transnational communication between teachers and students, scientific research cooperation, etc., integrate foreign advanced teaching ideas and first-class teaching methods into our teaching management and practice, improve teaching quality, enhance our international competitiveness and influence, and create a new situation of international education.

      Representatives of overseas cooperative universities introduced the cooperative programs online and congratulated to the achievements of the 20th anniversary of the internationalization. Under the witness of all the members of the main venue, on behalf the GCC, Lv Quanrong signed cooperation agreements with representatives of overseas universities.

     On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of international education, the idea of actively running schools has been integrated into all aspects of GCC’s internationalization. The college's international cooperation programs are increasing year by year, and the level of cooperation is constantly developing in depth, which lays a solid foundation for the college to build an international school brand. The Cloud Signing Ceremony with universities in UK, Canada, South Korea, Singapore and Kazakhstan indicates that the cooperation between GCC and overseas universities has entered a new stage of rapid development.
